I have been embarrassed by our company website for years. It never truly reflected our work, our capabilities, or our creativity. The reality is, when you run a creative business, your own brand almost always comes last. We spend our days pouring energy into our clients, helping them shine, and telling their stories. Our own story sits quietly at the back of the line.
But that changes today. I am so excited to finally announce the launch of our brand new website. This is more than just a new look for us. It is a celebration of how far we have come, the incredible work we have done, and the talented people who make it all possible.
Over the past year, our team has grown. We have welcomed some incredibly talented creatives who bring new skills, fresh ideas, and a real passion for what we do. Their energy is contagious, and having them on board is a big part of why we can raise the bar for ourselves and our clients.
This website reflects that growth. It finally feels like us. It shows the kind of work we are proud of, the partnerships we have built, and the personality that makes Avian Creative different.
Avian Creative was, as Bob Ross would say, “a happy accident”: my passion for flying and writing naturally translated into visuals and copywriting that fell into place on social media. From there, the combination of a creative mindset and an antiquated marketing industry put me in a position to fill a gap in the market. some big milestones would be going full time with the business in May 2021 hiring my first full time employee March 2023 followed by my second employee in January 2024 followed by my third in November 2024 followed by leasing our office December 2024, and so the story goes with now a team of seven, a beautiful office where we all work together in person in the heart of a beautiful creative community.
Each of these milestones has been shaped by the incredible people who joined along the way. As Avian Creative grew from a solo venture into a thriving team, it became clear that our success was never just about the work; it was about the personalities, talents, and dedication that each person brought to the table. Our team is the heart of our company and the reason we’ve turned big dreams into reality.
I’d like to take a quick second to introduce you to the team.
First up is Caitlin Devlin, our Digital Marketing Manager. Caitlin has been with us for nearly three years, starting out as a digital marketing assistant and quickly growing into her current leadership role. She is incredibly positive, hardworking, and creative, and she brings a sense of adventure to everything she does. Caitlin is always eager to try new things, take on new challenges, and explore fresh ideas for both our clients and our team. When things get busy, much of the pressure lands on Caitlin’s shoulders, and she manages it all with grace. We’re so grateful for her willingness to step up, her adventurous spirit, and her constant support for everyone around her.
Next, I want to shine a light on Tanya Drury, who joined us in November 2024 as a Junior Designer. Seeing Tanya bloom in this role has been incredibly rewarding. She quickly stepped up as a project manager and was recently promoted to Senior Designer. Tanya has touched every single design that has passed through our building. She is organized, thinks outside the box, and knows exactly when it’s the right time to color outside the lines. She has transformed our company’s design offerings and has been a big part of our design department’s growth.
Then there’s Liam Kennedy, quite possibly the most British Canadian we’ve ever met. Liam brings his professional filmmaking experience to the table, producing beautiful photography and videography, and delivering polished edits that always exceed expectations. Beyond his creative eye, Liam is known for his warmth, kindness, and genuine politeness, traits that make him a joy to work with. His deep appreciation for history and the arts often shows up in his work, and with family ties to aviation, he’s right at home exploring the stories that make our industry unique. Since joining Avian Creative, Liam has truly raised the bar for what we offer, and we’re grateful every day for the passion and skill he brings to the team.
Another key addition is Cait Lourenco, who joined us in February this year as a Digital Marketing Manager. Cait made an immediate impression as the fastest learner we have ever brought on board. She joined at a time when our client list was growing rapidly, and our team was still catching up, yet she handled every challenge with remarkable dedication and focus. Cait goes beyond just getting tasks done; she is always looking for ways to grow, improve, and make a real impact. In her short time with us, she has already spearheaded several new projects and has quickly become an indispensable part of our company.
Next up is Paisley Gales Cousens, our Digital Marketing Assistant. Paisley is pure brightness and enthusiasm; her energy is contagious, and she brings such a positive spirit to everything we do. She always shares fresh, creative ideas for our client projects that help us shape and improve our deliverables. Paisley is incredibly task-oriented and provides tremendous support to our team, especially the Digital Marketing Managers. She works on all of our social media marketing clients and handles a heavy workload in stride. Since starting in April 2026, Paisley has shown remarkable growth, quickly deepening her understanding of both the aviation industry and the impact of marketing campaigns.
Last but certainly not least, we have Emily Wentland, our Junior Designer, who joined our team in June 2026 and immediately dove into producing some of our favorite projects. Emily is an incredibly skilled designer with a wealth of real-world experience, and many of our clients have already benefited from her expertise in just a short time. She takes on new challenges without hesitation and always approaches her work with a positive attitude. Emily is not only talented but also kind and warm, always ready to support her peers. Her presence has made our team stronger, and we’re grateful to have her with us as we continue to grow and create.
Looking around our office today, I am filled with gratitude for this team and for the journey that brought us here. Every milestone and every project has been shaped by the people who show up each day with creativity, drive, and a genuine love for what we do. As we celebrate the launch of our new website and this new chapter for Avian Creative, I can’t help but feel excited for what comes next.
